Listen to personal paranormal experiences from around the globe. The host Lex Wahl reads ghost stories sent to him by the listeners, and adds music and effects to the background. Best of all...IT'S FREE....www.anythingghost.com

I love this guy’s work.

I found his website www.findadeath.com about a decade ago, and was up all night sifting through the website.

The website is dedicated to the dark side of the passing of celebrities. I’ll make this short by saying he has received his fair share of legal threats and hate mail from relations and fans of celebrities, because he pulls no punches on the material he releases.

Not long after the inception of the website, he began running a tour of some of the famous places related to his work: the tour is called the “Dearly Departed Tour.” I have yet to go on this tour, but plan on it this year.

And now, it appears he’s doing videos of his tours. Awesome! (see video above).

Anyway, check out the website (www.findadeath.com), the tour and the videos, it’s great stuff!

The Mackenzie Poltergeist

Doesn’t sound like a poltergeist, but a fun watch none-the-less.

Suicides at Point Fermin Lighthouse, San Pedro, California #1

I live not far from an area known as Point Fermin. It’s a beautiful seaside area with high cliffs, a lighthouse, parks and wonderful walking areas. Since I’ve moved here, I’ve been noticing numerous suicides from the cliffs. Some older, some middle-aged, and some (as in this article) are very young.

It boggles my mind how many suicides there are from this cliff. There was one 2 weeks ago, but I found no press on it. I’m guessing the local press is finding that reporting on these suicides may fuel the fire. I don’t know. But the suicides—or even some accidental falling—are not a rare occurrence.

The article linked here is from March of 1996 (way before I moved here), and talks about 2 teenagers who made what was thought to be a suicide pact: they were Christopher Mills, 16, and Heidi Chamberlain, 15.

A few months after this suicide, another dual teen suicide occurred.
Very sad.

The Conjuring. 2013.

If the movie is anything like the preview, I’m going to like this one. Hopefully the director didn’t add any Alien type creatures, et al, thus ruining the creepy haunted house effect.

I’m sure some of  you have seen this. I find it creepy—almost ghostly. The girl was later found in the water tank at the top of this hotel.

The whole story reminds me of the movie “Dark Water” (don’t recall the name in Japanese, but it was better than the American version).

She’s a 21 year old girl visiting Southern California from Canada. She stayed at a run down hotel in an area of Los Angeles known as Skid Row—known for homeless, drugs, etc. Supposedly, they’ve cleaned up the hotel. I guess someone from out of town, looking for a good price on a room, wouldn’t know the background.

Sad.

This is the introduction to an old tv series I just discovered. There are several of the episodes on YouTube.

It’s called Haunted Lives: True Ghost Stories.

A fun watch.

I’m Done.

The last cut on my release “Anything Ghost II: the Music from the Anything Ghost Show 2nd Edition.” Released, Aug. 2011.

Odd. YouTube says the video is “private.” It shows up fine elsewhere, so it must be a Tumblr issue.

Halloween Season Movie Suggestions, #5:

The Day of the Triffids, 1962 (British)

A great light storm fills the sky one evening. The whole world stops and watches the glorious lights. By the time the next morning arrives, the watching world finds it has been blinded by these lights. However, believe it or not, that’s not the worst of it: the meteor shower (or whatever it was) has also unleashed a new plant species. These plants can uproot themselves and walk; they stand about 10 feet tall, can communicate with each other and inflict a deadly poisonous sting. What to do? Our star-hero of the movie was one of the few lucky ones who did not see the light display, so his eyes were spared. Can he save the world?

Another great watch or the Halloween season.

Halloween Season Movie Suggestions, #4:

The Wickerman (British) 1973 —not the 2006 American version.

A creepy and frustrating British horror film. I rented this years ago and watched it alone. :O

A policeman receives an anonymous letter from a remote island that reports a young girl has been missing for months. The policeman is flown to the island to investigate the missing girl. A devote Christian, he becomes frustrated when he finds the island’s inhabitants worship old pagan Celtic gods—and no one on the island will aid him in his search for the missing girl.

Halloween Season Movie Suggestions, #3: (sorry, I ran behind on these).

Trollhunter, 2010 (Norwegian)

This is a “found footage” mockumentary about some college students who set out to film a documentary about bear poachers, but unwittingly begin to follow a man who was hired by the government to keep an unknown troll population under control.
